John D. Moore, President-Human Resources, Administration, and Safety, Western Kentucky University 1981 in Business Administration. Has over 30 years of experience in the Mine Construction business and is directly responsible for Administration, Human Resources, and Safety for Cowin & Company, Inc.
Herbert C. Gibson, Jr., Engineer, Manager of Business Development, BS degree in Mining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Has worked in the underground construction industry since 1974, in various production, engineering, and management capacities.
Frank Stevens, P.E., Engineer, Manager of Technical Services, BS degree in Civil Engineering and Soils from Auburn University and a MBA from Samford University. Since 1990, Frank has worked in various capacities within the mining and heavy construction industries including estimating, project management, and general management.
Chris Moore, PE., Engineer, BE degree in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University with an emphasis in Structural Engineering. Since 2012, has worked in various capacities ranging from field engineering to project management and estimating.
Russell "Rusty" Jacks Jr., CPA, CGMA, Financial Controller, BS & MS degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Has over 12 years of experience as a CPA, seven of which were spent in Public Accounting and specializes in construction & financial accounting.
Mark "Bumper" Charlton, General Superintendent, Directly responsible for all shaft, slope and other underground and surface projects. He has been with the company for over 40 years.
Mick Hardwick, General Manager of Raisebor, Has over 40 years of experience in the Raisebor industry and has vast experience in all aspects of the industry from "crown to ground".
Keith McLemore, Shop Manager, Heads up a team of skilled workmen to support all of the Cowin & Raisebor operations. He has been with the company for over 20 years.
Thomas "Red" Smith, Area Manager, Works directly under the General Superintendent assisting with daily operations and production. He has been with the company for over 30 years.
